Robert would like everyone to know that Cartman (aka Nicholas Prescott) is from Brainerd, MN. He also wants you to come to your own conclusions on why exactly that is important to this story (It’s not, but who grows up in Brainerd, MN?)…

Cartman was one of the first people Robert met while working as a Autotech at Best Buy before Autotechs were even a thing. Cartman was in charge of training Robert how to install car electronics. He determined the best way to do this was to leave Robert alone in the shop while he took long lunches and went home early. Robert likes to think that Cartman soon realized that Robert wasn’t just another “green” installer that was only going to last a couple weeks before filing a huge damage claim and getting fired because of it. Though, this realization may have finally sunk in when Robert moved in with him in his Shoreline house in 2008.

For those of you who don’t know the story of the Shoreline house, it’s recommended that you ask either of them to explain the finer details at some point during the wedding night. He’s confident you won’t believe either of them despite their being no discrepancies in either of their stories. Teaser: they never paid rent.

Robert was ecstatic to be a groomsman at Nick and Jenn’s wedding last year at Ray’s boathouse – a place that will always have a spot in Kate and Robert’s hearts. He couldn’t be happier for those two kids and looks forward to creating many more memories to look back on and wonder how they didn’t seriously injure themselves.

Don’t be fooled by his infectious laugh, slightly crude humor and what once was red hair. He’s one of the most caring and thoughtful people you’ll ever meet.
