We couldn't be more excited to add chapters to our story as we grow old together. Here is our timeline of milestones that we have experienced together over the past two years.

  • May 28, 2013

    Chapter One

    We met for the first time at Cobalt (CDK Global for you new kids) and immediately knew who was boss (depending on who you ask).

  • July 15, 2013

    The Date of Two Desserts

    Our first date was to Ray’s Boathouse in Ballard. A place Robert has grown up frequenting and something he wanted to share with Kate. Robert generously allowed Kate to order two desserts – she knew it was love.

  • August 10, 2013

    I Think We’re Dating

    On a sunny summers day, Kate said, “You know you’re my boyfriend right?”. Robert didn’t argue. Since then they have been as happy as two sleeping otters holding hands.

  • October 3, 2013

    That Moment You Know

    The morning before Robert left to go to Pune, India for five weeks, they both knew how difficult it was going to be to say goodbye. That’s when Robert told Kate that he loved her and Kate told Robert she loved him too! (She was crying really hard, so that’s at least what he thinks she said.)

    Happily Ever After

    He’s never been so sure and so nervous simultaneously. He got down on one knee in the grandest of gestures, and she said yes without hesitation. Check out Our Story page to see the video!
