This is the story of how two people fell in love.
Three, if you count Robert’s dog Henry as a member of this relationship. (He counts.)
Robert and Kate met in 2013 while working for the same digital marketing company in downtown Seattle, WA. Robert was a team lead and Kate was hired on as a contractor. Who’s to say if it was love at first sight? But one of the first meetings they had, Kate did call Robert out for using improper grammar, to which he replied ” I like you!”. Years later, stories were shared that Robert had went home and spoke to his roommate about Kate, and Kate had went home and declared to her roommates that she had a crush on her lead at work.
It wasn’t long before their work relationship grew into a warm friendship, and then a blossoming romance. Working together was a bit of a road block. Kate often invited Robert to group hang outs or happy hours with other coworkers. But he remained the image of professionalism. Then one day Robert mentioned in a casual chat with Kate that he was going to a beer festival with friends that weekend. Kate took the bait and immediately bought herself a ticket and recruited some girlfriends to join.
That weekend Robert introduced Kate to his closest friends and his best friend, Henry. And it was clear to everyone that love was in the air. A week later they went on their first date, and though the food was good and the conversation riveting, the one thing that they both knew immediately was that they had never been more at ease and more comfortable with another person in their life.
And the rest is history. Throughout their relationship the past two and a half years, Robert and Kate have truly made life into an adventure. They have traveled to exotic places, explored the northwest, attended more weddings and birthday parties than you could count. They share a passion for life and a love of animals (Robert is a dog guy, Kate an avid cat enthusiast.)
They both feel blessed to have found each other, knowing that each day is just another page in their story. Family and friends mean the world to them, and they are more than excited to have you come and share in their special day.
